Registration for Champ Camp and the new Champ Camp Challenge is done online only.  Each participant is required to register individually.  
We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, or if you prefer, you may send in your payment by check. All checks received after June 15th will be processed as an ‘e-Check’, immediately deducting the amount from the checking account the same as a ‘debit’ transaction.
All fees are required by Tuesday, June 25, 2013.

Participating teams are coded with Numbers and Letters. You will need this information in order to access the registration process. This information will be provided by your coach.

Champ Camp is pleased to announce the addition of The Champ Camp Challenge.
In an effort to continue to provide a valuable service to our lacrosse community, Champ Camp recognizes the trend of some of the college programs, as well as the significant number of college coaches in attendance, to identify players much earlier in their high school careers. The Challenge will be limited to a 16-team championship tournament for teams comprised of rising freshmen & sophomores. The Challenge games will be played within the framework of the main Champ Camp event, taking advantage of the same facilities and services, but will have separate 4-team divisions and its own championship.  All of the "Champ Camp Challenge" teams will be commuting (hotel) teams, unless otherwise determined by the Champ Camp directors.

Please DO NOT register twice - you will incur an additional processing fee. If you have already registered on-line for 2013 and need to make an additional or new payment of the camp fee by Credit or Debit card, we need the following limited information to expedite the charge. CHAMP CAMP FEES AND DEPOSITS

Each team coach, working with the Champ Camp Staff, will establish their players' fees by selecting one of these two housing status options (based on availability):

The mutually agreed upon plan and its associated fee (as letter coded) will apply to ALL MEMBERS OF THE TEAM. No exceptions.

On-Campus Plan - Housed in a Dorm at JHU or Towson University – Team Letter Codes:
• CHAMP CAMP: HH = Housed at Hopkins / HT = Housed at Towson University
• CHAMP CAMP CHALLENGE: CHH = Challenge Housed (campus TBD)
Fee: $675.00 (includes a $12.00 registration processing fee)
Fee includes dorm room (at Johns’ Hopkins University or Towson University), meals (Dinner on Wednesday, B/L/D on Thursday and Friday, Breakfast on Saturday), bus transportation to and from game sites, event management and operations fees, staff fees, game official fee, team reversible, other player and team awards.

On-Campus Participants are responsible for a separate $100 Key/Damage Deposit. Please see the explanation below.

REFUND POLICY

Full payment is due with the on line application. $75.00 of the camp fee, and the $12.00 admin fee paid, is completely non-refundable. Our refund policy is designed to minimize the impact to both parties in the event of a player's cancellation. Due to expenses incurred with each application, it applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.

As of Tuesday, June 25, 2013, $200.00 of the camp fee and the $12.00 admin fee paid is non-refundable.

The entire fee paid is non-refundable for ANY early departures or cancellations as of Wednesday, July 17, 2013.

We do our best to accommodate both player and team. Given proper notification by the Team Coach, should your position be officially replaced prior to July 17th, the cancellation fee will remain at $75.00 of the camp fee and the $12.00 admin fee paid.

General

All participants must check-in on Wednesday, July 17th, at the appropriate times listed above. Teams staying at Johns Hopkins or Towson University will check-in on their individual campus (click here for directions to Johns Hopkins or Towson).

Day/Local/Hotel teams will check-in with their coaches either at their first game or a location and time determined by the coach.

Dorm/Resident Campers : Individual Check-in is required.

Johns Hopkins Registration - from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Location TBD

Towson Registration - Teams will be housed in Glen Towers. Registration location will be posted at the campus. Registration will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

At check-in, Dorm/Resident Participants will receive housing keys and meal tickets (if applicable) and an updated tournament schedule for Wednesday and Thursday only. Friday and Saturday tournament schedules will be posted on the website as soon as possible, and updated throughout the event.

Coaches will hand out team jerseys at their discretion.

Late Check-in

Advance notice is required for participants who are unable to check-in during the allotted time period. If you will require a late check-in, please notify the registration staff by sending an e-mail to us at laxcamps@yahoo.com. Please note the numbers given below to contact us the day of check-in.

Required Materials

No one will be allowed to participate without all required Registration Forms completed. ALL forms are are within the on line registration process (see Register Now above). Deadline is Tuesday, June 25, 2013.

Medical Questions/Concerns

A member of the training staff will be present to discuss any medical concerns participants may have.

On-Campus Parking

Participants staying at Johns Hopkins or Towson who elect to bring their own vehicle must obtain a parking pass at check-in. It is the parent and participant's responsibility to ensure their vehicle remains parked and unused until after check-out. The fee for parking is established by each campus and can be purchased at check-in. The fees in the past have been $8.00 to $12.00 per day.

Let the Games Begin

First Round tournament games will begin on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 17. This time will be posted on our Tournament page within a few days of camp. Please check the web site or check with your coach to find out your first game time and location. Your game may be as early as 3:00pm!

CHECK OUT: SATURDAY, JULY 20th
APPROX. 10:00 to 11:30 AM

ALL teams play on Saturday morning.  Start times are from 8:00am to 11:00am.  The Championship games for both Champ Camp and The Champ Camp Challenge will be held at JHU on Homewood Field, beginning @ 11:00am, times TBD.  

Check-Out is for Dorm/Resident Campers Only.  There is no 'official' check-out for Day/Commuting campers.  Dorms are inspected by  staff members, room key(s) are returned and key/damage deposit refunded - Key Deposit Checks will only be returned at this time. If you do not retrieve your check at this time, provided your key is returned by the end of check-out and we have no reports of damage to your room or hall, your check will be later destroyed.You must be out of your room by noon. You are responsible for your own equipment and luggage. No luggage or equipment can be left in any lobby of the dorms. Champ Camp is not responsible for articles left in Public areas.

KEY/DAMAGE DEPOSIT FOR HH (Housed at Hopkins), HT (Housed at Towson) AND CCH (Challenge teams Housed) PARTICIPANTS

As a Dorm/Resident participant whether you pay on-line by credit card or choose to mail in your camp fee, you must submit a separate $100.00 key deposit check. This check is returned at check-out when all keys are returned and the room and hall has passed inspection. Any REFUNDABLE Key Deposit Check not picked up at check out will be destroyed by the camp office. Checks retained for lost keys will be processed by e-Check immediately by Champ Camp. Checks retained for damages incurred will be also be processed by e-Check following communication with the participant and family.  Key Deposit Checks MUST be received by Friday, July 12th. Mailed to: Champ Camp; PO Box 366; Galena, MD 21635. Please include participants name and team # on your check. This post office box will not be monitored after Friday, July 12th, as the registration office and staff relocates to Baltimore.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation Service - TO RESERVE WITH BAY AREA LIMO, PRIOR NOTIFICATION IS MANDATORY. THIS IS A PRIVATE SERVICE, CHAMP CAMP DOES NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING YOUR OWN TRAVEL TO AND FROM CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT.

Use only Baltimore Washington International (BWI) airport. Arrivals should be between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, if possible. Same for Amtrak - use only the Amtrak station at BWI.

All teams play their final games on Saturday morning. Start times are from 8:00am – 11:00am. The tournament schedule for Saturday isn’t posted until Friday afternoon. We apologize for the inconvenience of the challenge this presents in scheduling your departure flight. We suggest no return flight should be scheduled before 4:00pm on Saturday. Transportation to BWI will begin at 11:00 AM to ensure timely delivery to the airport (approx. 40 minute drive). We don't want you to miss your game on Saturday morning, to be safe, the later your departure time, the better. This service is only available to and from either the Hopkins or Towson campuses, and to those who make prior reservations with Bay Area Transportation.

There is no service or rooms available before check-in on Wednesday or following the check-out day on Saturday. If you need to arrive prior to check-in, it is your responsibility to secure lodging. We suggest any of the airport hotels from which a shuttle can be taken to the main terminal for pick-up on check-in day. Again, you are responsible for securing your own travel to and from the airport. Champ Camp does not provide this service.

CHAMP CAMP 2013 PREFERRED HOTELS

Champ Camp has set up special room blocks at twenty properties for your convenience and savings. The rates listed should be equal to, or most often less than, what you can find on your own. All of these hotels are located within reasonable drive times to the many fields used by Champ Camp.

Each hotel has a limited number of rooms set aside for our group and are available on a first come, first serve basis. Reservation deadlines vary by property. A major soccer event will be in town prior to and including the same dates as Champ Camp 2013, thus we encourage you to book early.
